The EU is about to pass an important directive that would reduce pollution levels allowed in our fuel. But, lobbyists from the Canadian government and the oil industry are pressuring European officials to exempt dirty tar sands oil from regulation.

Tar sands oil is one of the dirtiest in the industry -- it destroys ancient forests and emits at least 25% more carbon pollution than conventional oil. A handful of courageous members of the European Parliament are standing up to protect our climate targets and they say an enormous public outcry would give them the backing they need to reject this meddling.

We have just 48 hours until we deliver our public campaign to these Parliamentary clean energy champions. Let's build a massive show of support to strengthen their hand and give them the courage to face down big oil.
