Don’t let the Pacific Islands sink
To world leaders at the COP27:
As global citizens around the world we’re standing together with Pacific Nations whose survival is threatened by burning oil, coal and gas. We’re calling on you to:
- Adopt a Fossil Fuel Non-ProliferationTreaty to phase out coal, oil and gas fairly and equitably;
- Deliver critical funding for the most vulnerable to adapt and cope with a climate crisis they contributed the least to create;
- Make polluters and profiters pay and supercharge transition towards a green future powered 100% by clean energy.

Our country is sinking.
As you read this, the sea is rising around us. Inch by inch.
My homeland, Tuvalu, could be one of the first nations to be entirely wiped off the map due to climate change.
But we won’t drown. We will fight!
And that’s where I need your help! I’ll be addressing world leaders urging them to join a global treaty for a just transition away from fossil fuels. Nobel Peace Prize laureates, religious leaders and thousands of scientists have already joined – and together with millions of citizens on our side, we can get more Heads of States on board.
Join me now – and I’ll deliver our voices directly to the climate summit, because if we can save our islands, we can save the world.
