We also call on UK leaders to take all necessary steps to stop the appalling plans to offshore vulnerable refugees to Rwanda. Stand up for human rights at this important moment – we are standing with you!

My father Paul Rusesabagina is a hero. In 1994, he saved over 1000 people from the genocide in Rwanda. The film "Hotel Rwanda" made his story famous – but my dad criticised the government and now he's in prison.

Powerful people have told me to be quiet. But this week, the spotlight is on the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Rwanda -- powerful leaders and the international press will be there and already, questions about my father's plight, as well as the country's human rights record, are bubbling up. Join my call to make it too loud to ignore, and help bring my father home.
