To all G7 leaders:

We urge you to face down President Trump’s effort to gut international climate action. Use the upcoming G7 meetings to recommit to the Paris Climate agreement goal of zero carbon emissions through the phasing out of fossil fuels, as agreed at the 2015 G20 summit. Your leadership now is the only way to avoid a climate catastrophe for our world -- recommit today, and appeal to President Trump to join the world and his allies in fighting the existential threat of climate change.
