That's why this Wednesday a group of Avaazers and their kids will come together in Brussels to deliver a message to EU decision makers on behalf of millions of us: we want a healthy, pesticide-free future for us and our children!
Will you join us?
Here's what will happen: to show our governments that we're deeply concerned about the impact of this poisonous chemical on all of us, a group of parents, children and Brussels citizens will get free tests to detect whether glyphosate is in their urine.
It'll take place at a mobile testing unit in front of media, setting up a big story -- just 24 hours before EU country delegations meet to decide whether or not to relicense the controversial substance. It's all part of Avaaz's effort to mobilise citizens across Europe, and run hard-hitting media and advocacy actions ahead of the vote.
RSVP on this page to join us, ideally with your kids or grandkids (but everyone is welcome!) and get the specifics -- and invite your friends and relatives to come too. Let’s show our leaders people want glyphosate off our playgrounds, parks and fields -- now!
