Google: Don't be evil. Don't fund hate media

To Sridhar Ramaswamy, Senior Vice President for Ads & Commerce at Google:

Google: Don't be evil. Don't fund hate media
A fake news beast is fast taking over the Internet, gobbling up ad dollars on every hate headline and conspiracy theory that goes viral. They just helped Trump win the White House -- and they’re expanding worldwide.

One of the nastiest is Breitbart News: a conspiracy factory that insults women, gays, Muslims and more. Incredibly, one of their major funders is Google: A company whose own motto is 'Don’t be evil.'

But Google’s own ad guidelines say no ad sales next to bigotry!

Other companies are pulling the plug on these hate sites, and Google should do the same -- all they need to do is follow their own rules. Sign to the right to make sure they do!
