Coca-Cola: Clean up your supply chain!
To James Quincey, CEO of Coca-Cola – and other companies using gum arabic for their products:
We call on you to ensure you are not financing violence and human rights abuses in Sudan. We urge you to trace and disclose your gum arabic supply chains, conduct independent audits to ensure suppliers are not linked to the RSF or other militant groups, and cease sourcing from suppliers who cannot verify conflict-free operations. You can use your market power to set a new standard for transparency and help end the quiet flow of war money through everyday products.
Sign now - to ensure Coca-Cola isn’t funding brutal warlords:

Sudan is by far the world’s largest exporter of gum arabic. And right now, large parts of this trade are controlled by a paramilitary force accused of committing genocide: they are shooting young children in front of their families, dragging women and girls from their homes to gang-rape them, and executing men and boys because of their ethnicity.
Now, we are calling on Coca-Cola to investigate and make sure they aren’t funding these brutal warlords. Once our call is massive, we’ll unleash a tide of public pressure they can’t ignore - with hard-hitting media ads, social media campaigns, direct messages from consumers, and the delivery of our petition at their headquarters.
