To the United Nations General Assembly:

As concerned citizens across the globe, we urgently call on you to recognise the fundamental human right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment. This will help communities, lawmakers, judges, and whole nations in securing better environmental protection and access to human rights. The UN Human Rights Council has already done its part by passing a Resolution confirming the right with an overwhelming majority. Now it’s up to the UN General Assembly to do the same so all life on Earth can thrive.

In days, almost 200 nations will vote at the UN on whether to declare the right to a healthy environment a fundamental human right -- and powerful allies could deliver our voices straight to the General Assembly before the vote happens.
