We still can't believe it: a ceasefire has been declared for Gaza. After 15 months of devastation, this is a moment of hope for Palestinian civilians and Israeli hostages. But let’s be real - this ceasefire must bring more than silence in the skies.

Right now, Palestinian civilians in Gaza face deadly shortages of food, water, and medical aid in the midst of complete destruction. Humanitarian access is not a luxury; it’s a lifeline.

But even as the ceasefire nears, aid efforts face systematic Israeli obstruction: the huge majority of trucks bringing food are blocked from entering Gaza, while over 80% of the population faces extreme hunger.

We have a window - right now - to make a difference. Let’s tell US, Qatar, and all ceasefire guarantors: full humanitarian access to Gaza must happen now. Blocking aid is just unacceptable - it’s a death sentence for thousands of civilians.
