As citizens from around the world, we are alarmed by Israel’s move toward de facto annexation of the occupied West Bank – in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention – and ongoing violence against Palestinians. We urge you to stand for a future where Palestinians can live safely on their land, free from displacement and violence, and to impose immediate sanctions on the ministers driving this illegal takeover.

Israel is moving to seize the West Bank. The Israeli cabinet approved a plan to allow de facto annexation of most of the occupied territory, in violation of international law.

The plan threatens to tear families from their land and worsen horrific settler violence: this month alone, West Bank settlers reportedly have shot and one man dead, sexually assaulted another in front of his family, and brutally beaten a group of Palestinian women and girls.

This is not right – Palestinians should be able to move with dignity, peace, and security in their own land.

Let’s stand with them and fight for that future. Eight countries have already sanctioned the architects of this illegal takeover, and we can push for a critical mass of countries to join them – making it difficult for key ministers to travel or send money abroad until they end this illegal policy.
