Stop Israel’s illegal takeover!

To EU foreign and trade ministers, and all world leaders:

We are outraged by Israel's illegal push towards total West Bank annexation and its horrific wave of settler violence. We urge you to stand for a future where Palestinians can live with dignity in their own land by imposing sanctions, suspending trade agreements with Israel, and banning all settlement products.

Stop Israel’s illegal takeover!

Israel is advancing the de facto annexation of the West Bank under an approved government plan, in blatant violation of international law.

The occupation is already displacing Palestinian families and taking over their homes, while settler violence continues to escalate: In recent months, Israeli settlers in the West Bank have reportedly uprooted hundreds of olive trees, attacked Palestinian villages, burned homes and vehicles, and killed at least 16 Palestinians since the start of the year. One man was reportedly sexually assaulted in front of his family, and several women and girls were brutally beaten.

This is not right – Palestinians should be able to move with dignity, peace, and security in their own land.

Let’s stand with them and fight for that future. Nine countries have already sanctioned the architects of annexation – now it’s time to go further. We can push them to freeze all trade with illegal settlements and get a critical mass of countries on board with sanctions – making it very costly for Israel to continue this violent takeover.

Add your name now, and when it's huge, Avaaz will deliver our call for immediate sanctions directly to key decision makers – starting by taking our voices directly to EU leaders at an important summit in 2 days.
