We are deeply worried about the world's largest deforestation, led by Indonesia. We urge you to cancel the planned deforestation of one million hectares in the Merauke district of East Papua.

Save tree-kangaroos
The world’s largest deforestation has begun.

Thousands of excavators are set to clear-cut a rainforest 112 times the size of Washington, DC.

Under the pretext of food security, Indonesian authorities are planning to turn this vast, untouched rainforest into artificial monoculture fields. But most of the sugar won't be for food but turned into fuel for gas tanks -- while devastating Indigenous communities and endangered species.

But here is what we can do: in a few weeks Indonesia’s newly-elected president will take office. He could stop this with a stroke of a pen -- and international pressure could make a huge difference. Can you sign the call and share it with your friends?
