Next week, MPs could show they want our government to take bolder action to put an end to Israel’s aid blockade and offensive in Gaza – but it’s crucial they actually show up when Gaza is on the agenda. As constituents, we can urge them to be there.
Here are some ideas for what you can say in your message, but the more personal, the better:
- Say where you’re writing from so they know you’re a constituent (we’ll find your MP automatically, based on your postcode). Tell them why you care about this issue.
- You can tell them you want them to support sanctions against Israel, and for the UK to stop selling arms. And that you’d love a response from them – MPs will generally reply to emails from their constituents.
