Justice is the heart of this nation. Provide a valid explanation for the last minute removal of Justice Chamberlain from the Palestine Action judicial review or risk a major blow to public trust. Public confidence in the High Court depends on transparency, independence and clear reasoning.

What happened to Justice Chamberlain?
Something is off. At the last minute, Justice Chamberlain was removed from the court hearing (happening now) that will decide the fate of british peaceful protesters, who took the streets to end the genocide in Gaza.

If their proscription stands, over 2,200 peaceful protesters, many over the age of 60, risk being branded as terrorists and could face up to 14 years in prison.

It is almost unheard of to remove a judge so close to a hearing, and yet, the Ministry of Justice refuses to explain why.

Public confidence depends on transparency and independence. The Minister of Justice, David Lammy, must investigate and provide an explanation or risk a major blow to public trust.
