Don't destroy our wilderness!

To the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Parties and Committee for Environmental Protection and to Australian Minister of Environment Sussan Ley::

As citizens from across the globe, we call on you to cancel the Davis Aerodrome Project and instead show real environmental stewardship in Antarctica by creating protected biodiversity areas according to the principles you set out in the Madrid Protocol.

Don't destroy our wilderness!
Australia wants to build an airport in Antarctica, encasing the world’s great wilderness in 115,000 tonnes of concrete! This mega-scheme could mark the beginning of the end for Antarctica.

It would be a disaster for the ecosystem and breeding Weddell seals, Adélie penguins, and other animals are at risk. We can’t let this happen!

The more people know about this project, the more controversial it will become -- but the project has managed to stay out of the public spotlight. Until now!

Let’s build a massive global petition, demanding the Minister of Environment cancels the airport and biodiversity hotspots in Antarctica are protected instead! If enough of us join, we’ll make our message famous with a hard-hitting ad in Australia’s biggest newspaper!
