Love should never be a death sentence

Dear World Leaders,  :

As citizens from around the world, we're horrified to learn Uganda's ‘Kill the Gays’ Bill is back. Thousands could be executed, just for who they love. The President of Uganda is concerned about a global outcry against the law. We urge you to call on him to kill the bill, not the gays!

Love should never be a death sentence
Imagine it was a crime to love your partner. Imagine the government launched a witch hunt to hunt you down. Then imagine the fear of knowing you’d be executed, just for loving someone of the same sex.

This is not a horror movie -- it will soon be the reality for LGBT people in Uganda. The government just announced that it will revive its barbaric “Kill the Gays” Bill. In a matter of weeks, thousands could face execution, simply for the ‘crime’ of who they love.

The President of Uganda is no fan of the bill. He’s blocked it once before and he's concerned about foreign reaction to the law. If we create enough of a global outcry, from governments across the world, the President will act, saving thousands of innocent Ugandans from facing the death penalty.
