Koalas are some of the most beloved animals on Earth — gentle, vulnerable and iconic.

But right now, in Australia, they’re being shot out of trees by marksmen in helicopters. Up to 750 have been killed, with countless baby koalas likely left orphaned and alone.

Authorities claim it’s to prevent suffering after bushfires. But experts say it's reckless, cruel, and completely avoidable.

Animal rescue groups and local campaigners are demanding an urgent halt to the culling, independent access to the site, and a full review of what happened. And if we start a massive outcry now, we can help them win. Let’s protect Australia’s koalas before more are lost.
