I'm sitting here in shock looking at a 168-page court subpoena from Monsanto.

It commands us to turn over EVERYTHING in Avaaz's possession that has any relation to Monsanto -- emails, documents, notes, EVEN names and email addresses of our members who have joined our Monsanto campaigns!!

This is the kind of awful legal abuse and strong arming that Monsanto is infamous for. It's how they silence and intimidate their critics.

But Avaaz members just aren't afraid, so we're going to fight this. We've only got days to respond, and we need to hire the best lawyers out there. Donate to defend Avaaz, and let's send Monsanto a message: we're not afraid, and every time you come at us, you'll make us stronger.
