As the bombs rain down on Gaza and Lebanon, some heads of state could make a decision this week at the UN that could give peace another chance. Let's help the Palestinians and Israelis achieve peace.

For a year now, the inhabitants of Gaza have been living through a deluge of fear, fire, tears and blood. In the West Bank, families are driven from their homes to make way for illegal settlements; their sick are stuck for hours at Israeli military checkpoints on their way to hospital; and families are divided by a huge wall that cuts off their fields. But if Palestine becomes a state recognised by the world's most powerful countries, this victory would seal the creation of two states, Palestine and Israel, living side by side in peace and security.

The United States and Netanyahu are lobbying hard to derail the project. At the UN this week, the leaders of Japan, France, Canada and the UK are more hesitant than ever. Let's make our voices heard and persuade them to speak out for peace and freedom. Sign to repel those who would sabotage peace.
