Recognise Palestine!

As the bombs rain down on Gaza and Lebanon, a decision could give peace another chance.

For a year now, everyone in Gaza has been living through a deluge of fear, fire, tears and blood. In the West Bank, families are driven from their homes to make way for illegal settlements; their sick are stuck for hours at Israeli military checkpoints on their way to hospital; and families are divided by a huge wall that cuts off their fields. But if Palestine becomes a state recognised by the world's most powerful countries, this victory would seal the creation of two states, Palestine and Israel, living side by side in peace and security.

The United States and Israel are lobbying hard to derail the project. The leaders of Japan, France, Canada and the UK are more hesitant than ever. Let's make our voices heard and persuade them to speak out for peace and freedom. We're already over 1.5 million strong.
