Gaza: Help Communities Rebuild

Gaza: Help Communities Rebuild
This is the world children are facing in Gaza today.

A shattered landscape of bombed-out buildings and mountains of rubble.

No electricity, no running water, no toilets, not enough food -- and no lights for a bedtime story. It's surely the most devastated place on Earth.

Yet from the ashes, families are trying to build a new life.

Avaaz has now spoken to community groups working across Gaza, and they are calling for urgent support to help restore the fundamental basics of water, food, and shelter.

By pooling our donations, we can help communities to regenerate farmlands, planting vegetables, food gardens, and olive groves. We'll help to restore water wells, repair greenhouses, and provide emergency shelter for children growing up in the shadow of destruction.

Your donation will go directly to trusted community groups in Gaza -- and you'll also be supporting Avaaz campaigns, working alongside Palestinians to protect children's futures. We just stopped the demolition of a kids football club in the West Bank, preserving a precious space where children can play together. That's what this work is about -- not just survival, but dignity, joy, and resilience for tomorrow.

Palestinians often talk about "sumoud" -- their unbreakable spirit of fierce resistance. Sumoud is how the families of Gaza, Hebron, Ramallah, and Jericho have endured for generations, planting seeds in the rubble of destruction.

Today we have the precious opportunity of helping those seeds flourish again. Please donate what you can now.
