Help build a new future for Palestine
In Gaza, children are still being bombed to death while their parents search for them beneath the scorched rubble. In the West Bank, homes and ancient olive groves are being set ablaze.
Genocides end when there is justice. When the killing stops. When survivors are allowed to grieve, to heal, to rebuild their lives with dignity.
None of that is happening in Palestine.
Instead, Trump speaks of building luxury towers over Gaza’s mass graves. Israeli politicians openly call for taking over the West Bank. If they succeed, Palestine will be erased.
But they’re underestimating one thing: Sumoud.
Sumoud is defiant resilience -- in Palestine, it means forging an unbreakable spirit; planting hope in the ashes of destruction. This is how we’ve endured for generations. And with your support, it is how we will continue.
Avaaz has identified Sumoud networks -- brave grassroots leaders developing brilliant ways to rebuild their communities -- emerging across Palestine.
They bring seeds into Gaza to fight starvation, deliver food and medicine where aid trucks can’t reach, and revive farms and water wells after bombs rain from the sky. If we act now, Avaaz can scale these networks, saving lives, land, and our future.
If you're feeling the extreme urgency of this moment, please donate now to power our fight for survival.
