It’s a disgusting tag team that has torn apart a country and destroyed generations -- Assad drops bombs, then Putin’s propaganda machine confuses the world about the truth, erasing the clear lines from Syria’s dictator to the slaughter.

And it’s working -- these intentionally misleading stories get millions of visits on YouTube, which promotes the videos as recommended. And many people, including Avaaz members, believe it.

We can stop the cycle. YouTube’s chief exec is passionate about the Syrian tragedy. Let’s make her realize her own company is being used as a tool for conflict, and spur her to action -- when enough join, we’ll take the appeal to her directly and to prominent YouTube advertisers to up the pressure.
