Right now in Sudan's El Fasher, babies are dying and families are surviving on animal feed, as aid convoys come under attack and fighters are closing in. You have the power to influence the UAE who are backing those enforcing the siege, and make protection of civilians a priority. As the UK’s chief diplomat you have so much power – use it to prevent a catastrophe!

In Darfur, families are eating weeds and animal feed, just to survive. Children are dying of hunger in their mothers’ arms. Food and medicine are blocked. And even aid convoys are bombed. This is famine, used as a weapon of war – and now the fighters are closing in.

But we can help prevent yet worse.

Right now, the UK has the power to act: It could call on its ally the United Arab Emirates (UAE) which is bankrolling the fighters – and unlock urgent protection for thousands.
