SAVE PALESTINE PROTESTERS ON HUNGER STRIKE IN BRITAIN
To UK Justice Secretary David Lammy:
8 lives are in grave danger. We call on you to prevent the deaths of protesters on hunger strike. Strikers are in need of urgent medical care. They have not yet stood trial and have had their right to normal bail conditions removed. Some have already been in prison since 2024 and do not have trial dates until next year. This is abnormal and inhumane. You must intervene now so that they do not die.

As you read this, eight young protesters in Britain (pictured) who have not yet stood trial are too weak to stand, mouths too ulcerated to speak and are at imminent risk of death.
To put 46 days into perspective, 24 year old Martin Hurson, an IRA hunger striker, died on the 46th day of his hunger strike in 1981.
They are currently in prison and awaiting trial for disrupting an Israeli weapons firm to damage weapons destined for Palestine at UK bases on the behalf of Palestine Action before the group was proscribed as a terrorist organisation.
They have been denied normal bail conditions, and in this moment of crisis, are not receiving the medical care they desperately need. This is a catastrophe that David Lammy, the UK’s Justice Secretary, will be responsible for if he does not act.
There’s no time to waste - the imminent risk of death increases with every hour. David Lammy must intervene immediately.
