Quietly, globally, billions of bees are dying, threatening our crops and food. Massive public pressure has helped convince the European Union to ban these poisonous pesticides, but we can’t stop there – these killers are used all over the world, and bees are in serious trouble.  

27 European countries have approved a 2 year suspension of these poisons. It’s a big win because we know bans work – Italy has had a ban in place for years and bee populations are recovering. But, Bayer and Syngenta -- the giant chemical producers -- are lobbying hard to undermine the EU deal, and keep their killer poisons on the market around the world. We have to keep building a huge swarm of public outrage, so we can push leaders in Europe to stay strong -- and push countries around the world to follow their lead and put our health and our environment before the profit of a few.

We know our voices count! Last year, our 1.2 million strong petition forced US authorities to open a formal consultation on pesticides and our 2.6 million petition was pivotal in influencing European countries -- now if we reach 3 million, we can persuade leaders around the world to get rid of these crazy poisons.
