Obama's bid to save the bees
Bees pollinate much of the fruit and other foods we depend on, but -- crazily -- we’re poisoning them to death. Now President Obama has just set up a task force that could lend them a lifeline.

Obama wants to stop the pesticide onslaught, which is killing a third of California’s bees every year. But his task force is an unwieldy mix -- from the Department of Agriculture to the Department of Defense, and droves of industry lobbyists are pushing to continue selling their noxious neonicotinoids. So it’s up to us to get the Environmental Protection Agency to stand up for the bees, and save our precious food supplies!

We’ve already persuaded the European Union to say no to neonics, so let’s race to win this in Washington DC, and send a strong signal around the world. Add your voice now, and share widely -- when a million people have signed we’ll take our message to the head of the EPA and other top task force members, in front of the media, with the help of our 5 metre high inflatable bee.
