We call on you to take action and stop the illegal logging of the ancient Gran Chaco forest. You are in charge of one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, home for jaguars, armadillos, ocelots and thousands of other species. Enforce the bans and court orders on deforestation, and protect what’s left of this natural treasure!

Jaguars are the soul of the jungle: they roam vast forests alone, care fiercely for their young, and have been sacred to Indigenous cultures for thousands of years.

But now, with the complicity of the local government, fewer than 20 jaguars remain in Argentina’s Gran Chaco forest.

Locals describe daily illegal logging and that they face intimidation if they speak out – but there is hope:
