Urgent Lifeline for Afghan Activists

They are activists who had the courage to protest against one of the most brutal regimes on earth. In Afghanistan, the Taliban has essentially made it illegal to be a woman. They can’t get an education, go out alone, or even sing in public.
So when women dared to speak out, they were beaten and hunted by the morality police. Many fled to Pakistan with their families.
But now, they're about to be sent back -- and the Taliban is waiting.
The women face being tortured or raped. For many, deportation is a death sentence.
This is a fundraiser to help them escape. We're close to securing expedited visas for many of the women most in danger, but now we need funding for the actual relocations.
Your donation would fund visas, emergency travel, and legal expenses -- helping dozens of women to find safety in a new country.
And that's just the beginning. Together we'll also support Afghan women to raise their voices for justice at the world’s highest court, where a historic case against the Taliban could soon be brought.
But there's no time to lose. Two women have just been deported, and police are going door-to-door.
Your donation is an urgent lifeline. Please give what you can now.
