To President Biden and G7 Leaders:

After two decades of US-led war, you have a moral responsibility to ensure the safety of the people of Afghanistan. This includes guaranteeing safe passage to at-risk Afghans, halting deportations, expanding refugee resettlement quotas, committing to adequate emergency humanitarian aid, and ensuring women and girls are at the forefront of political negotiations.

You have probably seen the images of Afghans clinging on to the bottom of airplanes in a desperate bid to escape the Taliban… only to drop to their deaths.

We’re not sharing those pictures, but we are bearing witness.

The US and allies have been fighting a war in Afghanistan for 20 years and have a moral obligation to get as many Afghans to safety as they can. In days, President Biden is meeting with G7 leaders -- this is our chance to ensure they commit to an ambitious solidarity plan for Afghanistan, providing safe passage for the most at-risk Afghans and ensuring critical humanitarian aid.

World leaders are already under intense pressure, but will want to see huge public support to commit to a plan big enough to take on this crisis. So, let’s give it to them -- sign and share now to stand with Afghanistan.
