This includes guaranteeing safe passage to at-risk Afghans, halting deportations, expanding refugee resettlement quotas, committing to adequate emergency humanitarian aid, and ensuring women and girls are at the forefront of political negotiations.

Since the Taliban swept across Afghanistan, her life has been changed overnight. She’s not alone. Countless Afghans are living in fear and hiding underground, others are clinging onto airplanes, terrified of their most basic rights being stripped away.

President Biden has a moral obligation to get as many Afghans to safety as he can - and in hours, he’ll meet with G7 leaders. This is our chance to ensure they commit to an ambitious resettlement plan for Afghanistan, providing safe passage and critical humanitarian aid.
