Stand with the Guardians of the Grasslands!

My people have shared the grasslands with Africa's precious wildlife for centuries. But today we're being persecuted.
Families are getting pushed from their lands to make way for elite tourism -- and just across the border, our brothers and sisters are being evicted, shot and beaten to allow luxury hunts. I fear for our children.
That's why my small, courageous community rose up to create Nashulai Maasai Conservancy, the world's first Maasai-led conservation area. Families stay on their lands, living alongside elephants, lions, and zebras. We've cleaned the rivers, our rangers prevent poaching, and 25 baby elephants were born here last year!
Now we're working with Maasai communities to create the longest wildlife corridor in East Africa! But we can only do it with your help.
Our beautiful project is living proof that we can coexist with nature. But we're blocked from most conservation funding because it's reserved for traditional wildlife parks, which displace local people. Losing our land and livelihoods, we're pushed into the slums. Nashulai proves another way is possible, but we need support.
Avaaz members were pivotal in launching Nashulai -- now I'm humbly asking for your help again.
Your donation will keep our crucial conservancy alive, supporting wildlife and thousands of Maasai families. You'd also be powering Avaaz campaigns for Indigenous rights.
We are the guardians of vanishing grasslands, rivers, and wildlife. At Nashulai, we're helping them thrive. But we can't do it alone. Please donate what you can now!
