Monsanto’s latest terrible plan is to join forces with chemical giant Bayer, but if we convince regulators to step in, we can kill this monster merger.

It’s hard to know which company is worse. Monsanto is notorious for toxic chemicals like Agent Orange, dioxins, glyphosate. Bayer sold heroin to children, sued Nelson Mandela for making AIDS drugs affordable, and produces the pesticide killing off bees. Now one uses its power to force feed families genetically modified food and the other exacts unfair profits for life-saving medicines.

It’s a marriage made in hell, but the competition regulators in the US and EU can to stop the deal -- and both have track records of championing citizens.
