Days to stop the bulldozers

To EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini, International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda, and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres :

As citizens from around the world, we stand with the indigenous community of Pope Mountain and their nonviolent sit-in to defend their homes. We condemn the actions by the Israeli military to demolish homes and forcibly transfer indigenous communities off of their land in order to build illegal colonies. We call on you to hold Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli government accountable by opening a full investigation into these crimes, and making it clear that further demolitions will be met with international sanctions. This is the only path to save the prospects of peace, before it is too late.

Days to stop the bulldozers
2700 Palestinian homes are about to be wiped out by a new law that makes it legal for settlers to bulldoze Palestinian-owned land, demolishing family homes that have stood for generations.

Lawyers are working to overturn it, but by the time the courts act it’ll be too late. That's why one community is non-violently fighting back, preparing to sit-in and save their homes, but they need our help. A massive global outcry is the only thing that can help stall the bulldozers until the courts can block this.

We have no time to wait, the community just reported to Avaaz staff in the region that the military came today to take measurements of the land. Let’s urgently build a million-strong call to stop the bulldozers -- then deliver it to the world’s media.
