UN: Help the families of Syria’s disappeared learn the truth about their loved ones

To members of the United Nations General Assembly:

As citizens from around the world, we’re standing with the families of Syria’s over 100,000 disappeared and calling on you to create a new UN institution to clarify their fate and whereabouts. Their families deserve the truth and they have waited long enough.

UN: Help the families of Syria’s disappeared learn the truth about their loved ones
Fadwa’s son and husband have been missing since 2012. She doesn’t even know if they’re still alive. Like them, over 100,000 people have been forcibly disappeared in Syria, most of them by the Assad regime, and many by ISIS. Their families can’t even mourn.

Now the UN could create a new institution to establish the truth about Syria’s disappeared – but Russia is trying to defeat it to cover up Assad’s crimes.

Fadwa and other families have fought for years to know what happened to their relatives. This is our chance to help them. Insiders tell us the vote will be close so families are meeting undecided countries right now! And if we join them, we can back their call with a global outcry demanding the truth about their loved ones. Add your name now, and when it’s massive, we’ll make sure our call echoes throughout the UN.
