A lifeline to Syria's thousands of children

To President Putin of Russia:

We call on you to support the reauthorizing of the only remaining UN aid corridor from Turkey into opposition-held northwest Syria. A veto of the cross-border mandate at the UN Security Council would cut off access to lifesaving aid for millions of people - mostly women and children. The aid corridor is also the only source of Covid vaccines for the region. Should this gateway be closed, it would create yet another catastrophe in a country ravaged by a decade of war. It's time to put politics aside and save millions of women and children from starvation.

A lifeline to Syria's thousands of children
In days, millions of Syrian women and children face losing their only reliable source of food.

They were forced to flee their homes multiple times as the Syrian government dropped bombs, tortured their loved ones and shot at them in the street.

Now, with the help of Russia, Assad is trying to STARVE them.

President Putin wants the Assad regime to control the aid convoys -- and close the only cross-border access for aid agencies to deliver essential food and medicine. Already, regime forces diverted convoys and not a single item of regime-controlled aid made it to the rebel-held northwest, where millions of people fled the tyranny of the Assad regime and survive in makeshift shelters.

We have just days until the UN Security Council will vote on the fate of this essential lifeline for millions of people. Join this urgent appeal calling on Russia to back down and prevent millions from starvation.
