But amidst the relief, I see that our horror is far from over. And we need you.

Syrians are facing a severe humanitarian crisis.

13 million people are starving and 7 million are living in camps or informal settlements. Most hospitals are just a pile of rubble. Families need food, medical care, and shelter for an icy winter.

This is an urgent appeal to get life-saving aid and humanitarian support into Syria.

Once banned by the Assad regime, local groups and volunteers are now providing food and shelter. But they’ve told me they are under-resourced and overwhelmed by the levels of suffering. With emergency funding, they could reach thousands more.
