As Korean citizens, we are greatly concerned about the grim reality the women are facing in Korea. 90% victims of violent crimes are women. Korea’s gender equality is all time low along with the countries like Bahrain and India. Keeping Tak in the office sets a terrifying precedent for the feminist administration. We demand Tak’s immediate step-down and urge the President Moon Jae-in to keep his feminist pledges.

In Tak Hyun-min’s Manual for the Male Mind, women are nothing but sexual conquests. It’s a textbook misogyny, but President Moon is silent. It’s a huge offense to women in Korea and will only get worse -- unless we act now.

For his slandering of women, Tak made a one-line apology -- on his Facebook! What’s worse, Tak’s supporters are now attacking the women who raise their voices against him. Now, we have a make or break opportunity -- push him out of the office to establish a precedent -- misogynist has no place in public office, or else. The attackers are trying to silence women, but we can come together to show our voice is our power.
