Swiss banking giant UBS is the world's top financier of mountaintop removal coal mining -- the practice of demolishing entire mountaintops to get to the coal below, leaving flattened earth and toxic streams in their wake.

Many of the world's top banks have already renounced mountaintop removal mining. UBS, which has lent $900 million to MTR companies since 2008, needs to join this group.

UBS is sensitive to public pressure after recent negative publicity. Tell UBS to leave the mountains and their coal alone -- sign the petition to UBS to immediately stop funding mountaintop removal mining.
