As citizens and parents around the world, we are horrified that thousands of Ukrainian children are being taken by Putin and his officials for re-education and adoption in Russia. Such acts are a blatant violation of international law and we call on you for urgent action to ensure the safe return of all Ukrainian children. We urge you to announce new sanctions on those responsible, and demand accountability for anyone involved in such grave violations of international law.

Sofia was 13 and terrified when she tried to dig her mother out of the rubble, knowing that Russian airstrikes had just killed her little brother.

Her mum didn’t make it.

Sofia then became one of thousands of Ukrainian children taken illegally by the Russian authorities, and bombshell evidence just revealed stolen kids are naturalised, 're-educated' and some even trained to be soldiers.

Bringing the children back home, and the perpetrators to justice, is a complex mission, but the International Criminal Court, brave Ukrainian activists and researchers hacking into Russian databases are on it – together, let’s add the weight of people around the world behind their urgent call.
