Facebook save us from the FBI
To Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg:
As customers, clients and concerned citizens around the world, we urge you to resist the US government’s dangerous new push to surveil our most private conversations. The FBI’s new proposal opens a massive "back door" for the government to spy on all of our emails, Facebook chats or Skype calls -- often without a warrant. As the leader of the world's largest social network, it is your responsibility to vigorously oppose the FBI's spy law.

But the FBI can't win this fight without support from the biggest Internet sites -- and that's where we come in. Facebook is about to go public in three days and they are working hard to win over investors. A major global action from all of us calling on them to protect users could push them to reject the FBI's proposal, and lead the industry to do the same.
Our global outcry already helped stall attacks on our Internet freedom like SOPA, CISPA and ACTA. We've got 72 hours to get Facebook to reject the spooks and stand with us to protect our privacy. Sign the petition, then take action at our Facebook action centre for Internet freedom.
