نحن الموقعون أدناه مواطنون و مقيمون في الدول الأوروبية، ندين المجازر اليومية وعمليات التهجير القسري للفلسطينيين من منازلهم و أراضيهم في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية و القدس كجزء من سياسة الإبادة الجماعية التي يرتكبها جيش الإحتلال الإسرائيلي في انتهاك صارخ للقانون الدولي، بما في ذلك اتفاقيات جنيف، ما يقوض الجهود الأوروبية والدولية لتحقيق السلام العادل والدائم في المنطقة.
ولإننا نؤمن بأن الاتحاد الأوروبي يتقدم دول العالم في الدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان و سيادة القانون ويتحمل مسؤولية أخلاقية وسياسية للعمل فوراً ضد هذه الانتهاكات وضمان عدم استمرارها.
وبناء على ما سبق ندعو الإتحاد الأوروبي إلى:
1. اتخاذ موقف واضح وحازم بادانة الإبادة الجماعية وجرائم القتل والتهجير القسري التي يرتكبها جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بحق الشعب الفلسطيني.
2. فرض عقوبات على إسرائيل، بما يشمل حظر التبادل الاقتصادي و الأكاديمي.
3. تعزيز الدعم الإنساني والقانوني للفلسطينيين المتضررين من هذه السياسات.
4. العمل على تنفيذ قرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، وممارسة ضغوط دبلوماسية واقتصادية لوقف الانتهاكات المستمرة.
We, the undersigned citizens and residents of European countries, condemn the daily massacres and forced displacement of Palestinians from their homes and lands in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Jerusalem as part of the genocidal policy perpetrated by the Israeli occupation army in flagrant violation of international law, including the Geneva Conventions. This policy undermines European and international efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace in the region.
Because we believe that the European Union leads the world in defending human rights and the rule of law, it bears a moral and political responsibility to act immediately against these violations and ensure their non-continuation.
Based on the above, we call on the European Union to:
1. Take a clear and firm position condemning the genocide, killings, and forced displacement committed by the Israeli occupation army against the Palestinian people.
2. Impose sanctions on Israel, including bans on economic and academic exchanges.
3. Strengthen humanitarian and legal support for Palestinians affected by these policies.
4. Work to implement relevant UN resolutions and exert diplomatic and economic pressure to halt the ongoing violations.
