  أنقذوا المعتقلين السياسيين السوريين في لبنان  وضعت السلطات اللبنانية مئات المعتقلين السياسيين السوريين في سجونها تحت وطأة التهديد والابتزاز المستمر لتسليمهم للنظام السوري، المعتقلون الذين أُلقي القبض على أغلبهم قبل أكثر من عشر سنوات من قبل السلطات اللبنانية على خلفية تأييد الثورة السورية يناشدون ضمير الإنسانية بالعمل بكل الطرق القانونية إعلاميا وقضائيا وسياسيا لمنع تسليمهم للنظام السوري وتتلخص مطالبهم كالتالي: 1.     توفير الحماية الدولية من خلال الضغط لتطبيق الاتفاقيات الدولية ذات الصلة لمنع تعريضهم للخطر. 2.      يطلق المعتقلون نداء للمنظمات الحقوقية والإنسانية بزيارتهم في السجون اللبنانية التي تعاني من ظروف مأساوية لا تصلح للعيش الإنساني ما أدى لانتشار الكثير من الأمراض بين المعتقلين. 3.      يشدد المعتقلون على ضرورة الوقوف على ملفاتهم القضائية والنظر فيها من قبل المنظمات نظرا للظلم الواقع عليهم، حيث أن الاتهامات الموجهة لهم في مجملها غير صحيحة وغير دقيقة وأخذت اعترافات منهم تحت الضغط والتعذيب. 4.     يطالب المعتقلون الائتلاف السوري المعارض والمنظمات الحقوقية السورية واللبنانية، وكذلك الناشطين من أبناء الثورة لاسيما المنصات الإعلامية الثورية، أن يعملوا كل ما بوسعهم للفت الانتباه لقضية المعتقلين السياسيين في السجون اللبنانية. 5.      يشدد المعتقلون على نقلهم إلى الشمال السوري أو أي مكان آخر. يعاني المعتقلون وأسرهم من ظروف إنسانية ومضايقات وضغوط لا يمكن تصورها، ومنها التهديد المستمر بتسليمهم للنظام السوري وفق تصريحات مسؤولين لبنانيين، وهذا ما تحقق من خلال تسليم بعض المعتقلين للنظام في أوقات سابقة. عبر هذا البيان يجدد المعتقلون السياسيون من السوريين في لبنان مناشدتهم لكل أصحاب الضمائر الحية للعمل على إنهاء محنتهم بكل الطرق الممكنة لرفع الظلم عنهم ولإيقاف الابتزاز السياسي اللاأخلاقي القائم على التهديد بتسليمهم للنظام وهو الأمر الذي يعني الموت المحتم، وهذا ما دفع المعتقلين للقول بأن الموت أرحم لهم من أن يتم تسليمهم لنظام الأسد. English language below

# BeTheirVoice – Urgent Call to Protect Syrian Political Detainees in Lebanese Prisons   The Lebanese authorities have incarcerated hundreds of Syrian political detainees, many of whom were initially arrested over a decade ago due to their support for the Syrian revolution. These detainees now face the dire threat of being forcibly returned to the Syrian regime, a move fraught with grave risks to their safety and lives. We urgently appeal to the global community to employ all legal, media, judicial, and political means to prevent this potential extradition, which contravenes international human rights laws. Our demands are clear: 1. International Protection: We call for immediate international intervention to enforce relevant conventions and safeguard these vulnerable individuals from further harm. 2. Human Rights Oversight: We request that human rights and humanitarian organizations conduct on-site inspections of the deplorable conditions in Lebanese prisons. The inhumane environment has led to widespread disease and suffering among the detainees. 3. Judicial Review: There is an urgent need for these organizations to review and rectify the judicial processes concerning the detainees. Many have faced false charges, and their confessions were coerced under duress and torture. 4. Advocacy and Awareness: We urge the Syrian opposition coalition, Syrian and Lebanese human rights bodies, and activists, particularly those active on media platforms, to amplify their efforts to highlight the plight of the political detainees. 5. Safe Relocation: The detainees strongly advocate for their relocation to Northern Syria or another safe haven to escape the persistent threats they face. The prospect of being forcibly returned to the Assad regime is a terrifying reality for these detainees—a fate worse than death. For many, facing torture and probable death under the regime’s custody is such a horrific prospect that they have stated a preference for death on their own terms over such a cruel fate. This is a defining moment for human rights. The international community’s response—or lack thereof—will either save lives or doom individuals to torture and death. The moral imperative to act has never been clearer or more urgent. We must not fail those who are relying on us to be their voice. Let us rise to this challenge: the time to act is now.
